It’s finally here! The lower temperatures are finally creeping down the Southern Cali coast. I’m excited because I finally get to bring out my coated jeans (faux leather pants) I found at LTS last year to layer with some cute tops. When the Fall/ Winter season hits all the leather pieces seem to break out the closets. Wither you are taking it to the edge or just keeping it girly. Even if it’s the real deal or a more affordable alternative, it’s something about leather in the chillier seasons that make you feel good. I mean obviously you would sweat your a** off in the summer, but some pieces might do you a little justice around that time. Say night time by the water?
But anyway, Fall and Winter is perfect for you to show off that smooth leather Moto you just brought. Or those patent-leather knee high boots you just had to have. I don’t get to wear my faux leather pants too often, since I don’t get out much. (I promise this will change, once the kids get older) So I have been trying new ways to style them for work and keep it chic, casual, and comfortable.
Which brings me to this look. I had this criss cross tank from H&M chilling in the closet since the summer. I figure it would be cute underneath my favorite cardigan with a corset belt. And Bam! A new outfit completely opposite from this look I created last year. Talk about investment pieces. Now if you aren’t big on leather or faux leather but want to give it a try, you might want to start off with something small. And if you are a pro, I am sure you’ll be rocking something fresh.
Stay Chic and Chill!
